Well, we did it!
All of the crazy has been accomplished.
Let's start with the first thing...
Remember that half marathon we were planning for?
Well, we did it!
I can't say that I did it well, but I did do it. I was quite proud of myself.
The training schedule went out the window long before the marathon took place
but I was determined to do it anyway.
It took us about 3 hours. Robert could have done it much faster but he stayed with me the whole time.

After we got done we made our way home to get ready for Colten and Amanda's graduation party that was going to be happening at our house that evening. I had salads to finish and food to prepare all while I was having a hard time walking.
I survived and Kim and her family got here to help and things got done. The people came and the food was delicious and I think the kids were happy.
The next day when I woke up I was pretty sure I had been hit by a train at some point in the night.
My body hurt from my jaws to my toes.
(I chew gum while I run)
I really wanted to just lay there and die.
Instead I got up and went to church and taught my sunbeams.
That night was seminary graduation so I also had to function enough to go to that.
My body finally quit hurting by Tuesday. Not too bad, it only took 3 days.
Monday night the 19th was graduation.
I really can't believe I have another one grown up and am just left with my baby.
It is awesome and sad all at the same time to watch my kids grow up and move on with their lives. I feel like some days I was trying to hurry it along while other days I was trying to stop time. Somewhere in all of that I blinked.
When it comes to kids you should never blink.
In that split second babies become toddlers, who become kids, who become tweens, then teens, then they are just gone on their own life adventure into adult hood.
Still not sure how it all happens but I have so me pretty amazing adult children so I guess I'll have to get over it.
I'll save the rest of my crazy month for the next post.
Until then...
That's All
